This is part of a photo essay on homeless people. These pictures were taken in the early 90's in Miami and Tampa FL in an effort to focus attention to the disturbing yet often ignored issue of homelessness. While working on this essay I got to know some of these people and I have become sensitive to their plight. I hope the viewer will become less insulated as well.
